About the composer
Emánuel Moór was born in Hungary in
1863. He was a pianist, a composer and an inventor of musical instruments (the
double keyboard piano). Most of the time, he lived in Switzerland. He was a
close friend of Pablo Casals. Before and during the first worldwar, his works
were widely performed in Europe. Today he is almost completely forgotten.
Emánuel Moór died in 1938.
