Translation: I received a translation of the poem into Irish
Gaelic from Jack Hennessey of Manahawkin NJ US , which
he found in the missal An leabhar Aifrinn.published in 1958. I do not have a
translation into English, so I am not sure if the Stabat Mater poem is really
used, but with a view to the fact that it consists of 20 stanzas, each of three
lines, makes it very probable.
